About the Peavey Triple XXX amplifier.

The Peavey Triple XXX is a three-channel amplifier with 120 watts of all valve output. The Clean, Crunch and Ultra channel are all foot-switchable along with having an independent Volume control each. A Master Volume allows you to balance your channels and then control all of them with one knob; this makes it a great amplifier for live performances. It is powered by 4 x ECC83s and 4 x EL34s and has paralleled speaker outputs.

The Peavey Triple XXX offers plenty of tonal control, each channel has its own three-band EQ. So this gives you plenty of control over all the frequencies the amp outputs. The Crunch and Ultra channels each have a Gain pot while the Clean channel functions with just a volume control. Due to the amp’s foot-switchable Effects Loop, this could be used a workhorse; any external effects pedals can go right after the preamp section.
