About the Marshall JCM2000 TSL601 amp:
The TSL601 has the same 100% pure, all-valve signal path (4 x ECC83 preamp valves, 2 x EL34 power valves) and features of the TSL60 in a 1 x 12″ combo. The Marshall R&D department designed the custom-voiced speaker in conjunction with the much-respected Celestion Loudspeaker company.
So Marshall developed this 12″ speaker with the TSL601 and TSL602 combos in mind. Due to the sheer tonality, attitude and power of this amp mean it has earned the title “Wolverine”. Why? Because, like the animal after which it is named, this beast of a speaker delivers a mighty, tone-filled bite that belies its size.
