About the Blackstar HT Metal 60 amplifier.

The Blackstar HT Metal 60 is a 60W two-speaker combo using a matched pair of 6L6GC in the power stage. The speakers used are two Celestions and this makes for a very powerful but transportable combo.

Blackstar have made the clean channel switchable between ‘British Class-A’ and ‘dynamic US’. They have voiced The HT Metal 60 Guitar Amp specifically for brutal metal tones from either side of the Atlantic. This is done by Blackstar’s neat ISF control. So using a single knob you can dial between British tone on one side and American tone on the other. It’s worth mentioning that there are some awesome hybrid tones in between!

Each of the two ISF-equipped overdrive channels delivers the ultimate in valve amp metal guitar tones. So all in all this is a very versatile amplifier no matter what musical style you play.

The powerful but simple tone controls can be adjusted for old school classic metal or just as easily achieve modern extreme tones. Of course, even the most hardcore of Metal bands need a great clean sound too. The HT Metal 60 has a sparkling clean channel for those reflective passages!
