The Blackstar HT Stage 100 MKII amplifier uses 2 x ECC83 (also called 12AX7) preamp valves and 4 x EL34 matched power valves.
If you have the Stage 100 MKI version please click here as it uses a slightly different valve set.
Over time your valves will lose their tone and their power. A brand new set of valves will get your amp sounding like new again. We always recommend JJ valves for the HT Stage 100 MKII amplifier. This is because they guarantee you get awesome tone and power and they don’t cost a fortune. Remember, JJ is one of only four valve manufacturers in the world. So don’t pay higher prices for valves from the same factory that have simply been rebranded by other companies.
So restore the tone, the power and the sparkle to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself to a brand new set of valves today.
If you have any queries about replacing your valves please get in touch. We have over 30 years experience so one of our team will always be happy to help and advise.
About the amp:
So Blackstar has already had amazing success with the MKI version of this amp. Customer feedback and the company’s desire to stay ahead led to a raft of new features. Including a foot-switchable boost, professional recording outputs and multiple modes.
The HT Stage 100 MKII clean channel now features an American/British voicing switch This has always been popular with guitarists. The American voicing offers a tighter and more responsive clean, with a brighter top-end sparkle. The British voicing delivers that “chimey” and open-sounding clean, which then gets grittier as you crank it up.
